We need pics of the TT, myself, like most of us I am sure, need hard evidence. And you could remove the CV's fully or just hang them up with wire or bungee cords, if you make sure its secure, it shouldnt get damaged.

Tools are cool. Love to have them, hate to buy them, cry without them.

And your are most deffinatly going to get raped with labour, your are taking it to a Porsche dealership, so its kinda a given. When money is tight, and reliability is the name of the game, get yourself a beater!

lol, I also stripped it while accelerating up a hill.

I was just cruising slowly then I had to make a right at this very steep hill goin up. so I accelerated hard in first going up and then shifted to second and stepped on the gas and one second later car stops accelerating and super loud screeching noise.

the shop that told me it was stripped said it was probably stripped due to rust.

I still don't know if that clunking noise I got upon clutch release from the trans was that coupler jumping teeth.

my drive to school and back from school involves going up a lot of very steep hills do you think that caused it to strip? I sometimes would go up to 4k rpm in 2nd gear going up the hills before shifting to third.
