can someone confirm Perry's comment regarding all 951s having provisions for factory alarm?Ive looking in my passenger footwell and could not locate box described or plug, but I have an unidentified box strapped to my steering column. Im chasing this no-start condition and hoping its the alarm box.

Hello to all. I got a request. I removed my alarm control module as part of a restoration project on my 1986 944. I cannot find the picture of how it was mounted and I do not remember how it was mounted. I know that it clips onto something, but cannot figure it out. Can anyone provide a photo or write a description of how and where it mounts? Thanks in advance.
