I bought a new pair of shoes, thinking about ordering a new shift boot, and I am buying some toys for needy children through the local "Toys For Tots" program.

If I don't get my Bosch FI book, mechanics' gloves and creeper from Mr Claus. I'm going shopping on the 26th to take advantage of some of the deals that are to be had. Oh, and did I mention the metric combo wrenches and metric sockets that I want???

Winter break is giving me the chance to work on the car...

Engine mounts, rear wheel bearings, check that bolt on the back of the trans...make sure its properly tightened, possibly stage 2 map sensor install, but only if I cure the vibrations coming from the back of the car on boost in 2nd.

I may let the mech take care of the rear wheel bearings and the bolt on the back of the trans (under the rubber cover...)

Sam, when will you be in NY?

Maybe we can put together a little Porsche get together around that time....

Laid-off....

Anyone in/around Atlanta with some possible IT job leads? (I'm a systems support/admin, rather get in on a supervisory/managerial position but I don't have experience yet). Gotta love that anouncement at work 2 weeks before X-mas.

I'm getting the warm fuzzy I have had since I was 5 and can remember having Christmas with my family. Although I think Christmas has been getting more and more commercial through the years, the genuine warmth and calm of Christmas has entered my day to day existance.
FWIW
Peace to all

Anderson 2.5L rebuilt engine with Knife Edge crank for my frist love. Also I purchased quite a few bolt ons from my favorite bolt on tuner Turbo Tim. I got a SFR catback, Tial waste gate kit from him, and a set of intercooler pipes. Now only if the hot weather would come back I would be all set.

I bought myself the KLA strut brace, Perry951 LED package, Tech Edge wide band O2. I think my wife got me a new Bell Helmet from KartMall.

I got a new set of tires for my wifes explorer the other day; they were giving away free 20" kids bikes with each set while they lasted. Donated that to the local Toys for Tots.

Bought myself an '87 951. Used to have an '83 944 and loved it. Also have a 911SC Targa (garage queen) but the 944 and 951 are so much more fun to drive. <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />
