Default Early and late fender differences... am i screwed? Also antenna q

I recently picked up an early 944 fender for cheap (driver's side)for my '86. I'm assuming that it will fit right, right?

Also does anyone make antenna block-off plates?

its called a mig welder.
a .50 cent sized peice of plastic sticking out would not be very attractive.

from what ive read they should bolt up fine. it is the front part of teh NA and the turbo that has a difference.
