Post OT-Engine sealer...snake oil?

My Lumina has a minor oil leak, and I really don't feel like spending any more money on it. It's a really slow, minor leak (maybe a quart a month), but it's annoying and ruining my driveway. Does that stuff or like "bars leaks", or I know STP makes some kind of it, work? You know, the stuff that claims on the bottle to seal the engine and stop minor leaks? I don't want to be wasting my money on something that isn't going to work.

That stuff usually swells the seals in the given system to stop leaks. I don't think it could hurt.
