Finally managed to trace where this clicking comes from. I can hear it clearly in driver's feet, but under the hood engine noise was drowning every other sound. Frequency increases with revs.
But yeah, it's definitely DME relay, but relay itself looks like new. I shorted 30, 87 and 87a, and it runs and no clicking is heard. With the help of an LED I found out that it's control for a fuel pump relay that doesn't stay constant. I've put an LED at pins 85b and 87, and it kept flickering, which means this was causing relay to click. Poor pump, I wonder if this caused my other problems (still unsolved because they once again disappeared): https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-944-951-968-forum/455734-cuts-the-power-for-few-seconds-at-a-time-when-cold.html
I can't make any sense out of factory wiring diagram. Everything seems to go to DME control unit, so how do I trace what is causing it?
