Post Power seat switches - How to R/R?

The slide-back function on my power seat isn't working. I suspect the switch is either dirty or shot.

Removed the oval frame surrounding the switches and managed to pull the housing out, but after releasing the switch itself by pressing the tabs underneath, I can't remove it from the wiring.

How is it attached?

TIA

I think those wires are soldered to seat switch. If you reverse the wires on the motor, then operate the switch in the direction that works, the seat will move forward.

You need to pull the seat out if you haven't yet. then once you get the seat switch out, you need to unclip all the wiring back to the either 8 or 4 contact switch mounted to the seat frame. the wires in the switch actually go all the way to those contacts. once you take it all apart you will see what I mean. I have had the same issue, you could do what I do and just swap the contact on the motor when you need the seat to go back, and press the forward switch

Thanks for the responses.

So which parts can be replaced for the seat to work normally again? The soldered switch together with all the wiring back to the seat frame, or the separate contact switches on the frame if I understand correctly?

TIA
