Post 944 headlamp covers

Does anyone know if the headlamp covers in the down position can be adjusted to move slightly left or right. In particular, my passenger side needs to be slightly moved to the right. If so, how? Thanks in advance.

I'm also interested in this, my driver side headlight cover is off center by maybe 1/8" (the gap is slightly larger on one side of the cover than the other)

The gap differential seems to be normal. However, it can be minimized by the use of shims on both sides. I used 22-24 gauge galvanized sheet metal cut and drilled to sit behind the triangular pivots. A word of warning...The pivots have a nearly infinite number of degrees of freedom. It takes patience to get the covers level on all corners with the other sheet metal, but it can be done. Be creative....

Good luck

Bob S.
