The PO installed a dash pod on my car and screwed it in discreetly with brown screws. Not thrilled with it all but it looks ok.
PS:Anyone know if a 924 dash will fit in the 944 83-85/1

Jason- I'll see it at 944 fest and make my own comparison.. I think a lot has to do with the expertise of the installer.. LOL

Glad you are happy with it! I cant wait to see it.

I've no personal experience with those products but they may work.

Check automobile atlanta. They offer restored dashes - including airbag models. I will go to them when the money is available. That repair kit would be nice but - i have cracks around nearly every vent hole. I think I would go insane fixing everyone lol.

Mark:
Be careful dealing with Automobile Atlanta. Horrendous
record in regards to customer service. I would NEVER deal
with them again! Check out the threads and ask other's
advice, but that is my reccomendation.

There is also a place called Just Dashes that remanufactures your old dash for you. They mainly do musclecars etc and may not be too cheap, but may be less expensive than getting a NOS dash. They have a website that shows the process they use. I wish I had their machines, I would be cranking out 944 dashes all day!

If anyone needs a core, I have a badly cracked non airbag dash in my basement. It's black and needs to be reconditioned.
