Pornographic Avatars - People view this site from work!
OKay, you know who you are, and I would as that you refrain from posting pornographic avatars. I, as I know many other people, view this site from work, and it would be nice if I could continue to do so, something I can not do if I have to wonder what I'm going to scroll upon.
I'm no prude, far from it, but when I want **** I'll go to a **** site for it.

Yeah I have to agree with Prerydog. I would have to stop using Rennlist at work if the avatars became a problem. I imagine the same would apply to others as well and that would probably lead to people not getting timely feedback to their posts. And besides that I would just be pissed off if I couldnt check Rennlist from work.

This summer I had fun reading Rennlist while out sailing for two weeks and surfing with my gsm cell phone. Guess that would be impossible with all of the different avatars...
IMHO some of them are cool but mostly aren't.. I have yet to understand what they are good for.

I would like to add my support for this opinion. Please keep it clean. Aside from the fact that its highly inappropriate content for those who are "at work", it shows a huge lack of respect for John D. After all the work he put into getting the boards running for us, the last thing he is going to want to do it police them.
Please, for the sake of everyone, use common sense.

I agree with this, but I would like set rules as for what is appropriate and what's not. Because to me, mine is appropriate-- it's from a porsche advertisement, and it's my car, and there is no nudity. Acceptable to me, but I don't know if you guys have a problem with it (and I'm posting this from work, btw). John, I just wanted to say thanks for the new features on the boards, it shows you really do care about keeping this the #1 place for porsche owners on the web. The only thing I miss is the text which showed when the poster made their rennlist login at the bottom of each post. I liked that. Anyway, thanks.

mouse, FWIW, That is NOT from a Porsche advertisement. It is an aftermarket poster. I don't see anything wrong with it, but in some folks eyes (ladies, perhaps?) it would be tasteless.

uhmm I hadn't seen any **** avatars... but now I will be looking for them ...
..if everyone is worried about getting fired from work because of a racy avatar??? Don't you think you would get fired for wasting time on a porsche site as well? I know I would fire you.... but since I am the boss I can do that.
