Would a second nn-amplified work as a decent slave with this?

How much does that weigh? And is it easily removable?

Do you have a picture of the "enclosure"? Of the powered, or the non powered versions. It's not just the panel that the sub/amp sits on is it?

I've looked at some pictures, but they all only show the "face" of the "enclosure.

They won't give any more on the specs but I know the driver is not an 'off the self' HE driver.

Slevy951,

I have a cabrio and really like the idea of the cubby-hole subwoofer. But do you think an 8 inch driver would be able to produce sound that make it past the trunk?

I don't need a lot of boom as I mostly listen to rock but I do want some bottom end to my front speakers.

2) I'm working on a 10" version that will replace the spare tire. It won't have built in amp, though.
