Default so my battery died last night ...

I guess it's pretty old, died last night - jumped the car, drove home

in the morning got into the car to go to the bank - car wouldn't start again; ran out to the store and got a new battery - runs like a champ again

but, I had a question: wasn't there some really siqq light weight carbon fiber battery thing for sale somewhere? this one supposedly weighs around 40lbs which is a ton of dead weight!

I don't remember the name of it, I want to say Deca or something like that? or one of Oddysey batteries or something?

PS: I'm sure it was just a battery and not a starter/alternator issue

if it was the battery usually none of the lights will work. if it's the starter(my issue) everything works, it just needs a bump start.

Default Battery chargers

We carry the CTEK battery chargers. Porsche (and many other auto/motorcycle manufacturers) actually buys CTEK chargers and private labels them and resells for about twice the price. So once you get that new battery and want to get a charger to keep it fully charged, check out CTEK. It's a maintenance charger and won't cook the battery.

Check out the Odyssey PC680. I just put one in. Except for the extra $$ for the mounting bracket, it costs in the neighborhood of a good normal battery but is a dry cell (only 15lbs and no metal eating acid to slosh around). However, you can't run your radio or headlights for more than a few minutes with the car off and still expect to start the car. Not a problem for me, but may be a problem for some people.

yeah that's kind of another question I had, how fast do these get discharged?

braille one is around $250 with shipping (Ebay or Amazon)

and that charger is just like the one that plugs into a wall? it's small, very interesting
