Post How do I resize a pick for the avatar thing?

I have some shots of my car, but they are all huge. How do I shrink them down to the right size? I have them uploaded to Rennlist.

Open the picture in MS paint and go to Image then Stretch Skew. Change the % from 100% to say 50%. Just work with it until it is exactly how you want it.

i recommend sizing your image down to at least 150 pixels wide. the larger images are pushing the board text far to the right, thus using space. plus, a smaller physical image will load faster for those still using dial-up connections. if you want, i can size it up for you, i do web-design for a living. send me a pivate message.

make sure you save the image as .jpg or .gif after you resize it. i havent even looked at ms paint in years but iirc it only supports bmp files which are not really web friendly.

if you have photoshop you can use that or you can download a free version of a program called paint shop pro here: http://www.jasc.com/
