Sorry to hear about the troubles, I think some people are full of rage and can't deal with it in a normal way so they strike out at symbols, things of beauty, authority, community value, etc. It's difficult to put this in its proper place when its personal, but for your own head you have to. Keep your spirits up, you are obviously a person a good character and in short order this will be well behind you.

Puch, that's one of my worst fears having also just had my car re-painted. Life is sometimes unfair.

I had the same thing happen to my at my work about 6 months after I bought it. I came out and found that someone had scratched "*******" in big letters across the hood and all 4 tires had been slashed.
About 2 months ago someone backed into the rear passenger corner panel at the grocery store and did not leave a note. Did not even see it until I got home and my wife came out to meet me and asked what happened to the car.
I truly do not understand why someone would intentionally damage somone else's property. Sure maybe the person is jealous but that does not give them the right to destroy your property.
I know one thing though, if i ever catch someone intentionally damaging my car they are going to wish they had never been born!

I've had two cars keyed. I've decided if I ever catch a perp doing it, I'm cutting off his thumbs.

Sorry about your situation Puch. A couple months after I got my car, some punk keyed it in my high school parking lot. I was furious at the time because until then the car had excellent condition original paint. What also infuriated me was that no matter how far back I parked in the lot (to avoid door dings), people would go park right next to me anyway. By the end of the year, I had 4 door dings. Ah well.

Puch1313....sorry to hear your pain....

Is it me, or can you all confirm?

Driving home from work in my 944 yesterday...it almost seemed like everyone else thinks that they are driving on a race track! Perhaps it was the hot weather here in Portland this week, and drivers are getting irritated? I had one young couple in a red riced out Supra....pulled up right next to me....kept accelerating an decelerating....trying to push me one to race them. I simply ignored them and kept going at 65. They must have just finished watching the Fast & Furious....

Be careful folks....there's gonna be alot of wanna be street racers out this weekend

Why don't you see if the parking lot had video security?

I just had a simillar thing happen, and im working on a video system for my car so it will catch any of these F*ckers

And after i get it done, I hope it does happen, so i can catch em hunt them down, beat their ***, and put them on the internet and make and example out of them.

That's why I refused to take my car to school or work. Jealous, ignorant ********, who probably are driving cars that cost more than ours, feel the need to wreck other people's property. The other day someone poured BRAKE FLUID on my friend's Camaro, and last Halloween someone egged my brother's car and stuck a nail in the tire.

Someone threw an egg at my Lumina this winter, but because it was -20*, it froze at soon as it hit the window. That was a funny sight! <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" />

You can buy touch up paint pretty cheaply. Do the touch up and be very careful where you park in the future.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that Puch. Keying a Porsche is sacriligious, but keying Graphite Metallic is an abmonination of the highest order!

I hate that stuff.... I mean, people just don't think at all... Now i wouldn't start pointing fingers at ricers, (although it could have very well been them) but it could have been anyone.... who knows... On a side note, two weeks after i bought my car, i was walking back to it through a parking lot i noticed a guy standing very close to the rear... As i aproached slowly i noticed he had a knife and was trying to steal the "944 S" badge off the rear. Luckily he hadn't started chipping away yet when i yelled at him and he ran off.... I dunno, but there are some fu**ed up people out there.... good luck with the repairs on the car...
