While upping both the sway bars to stiffer ones will help a little with lateral roll, it won't help change the understeer/oversteer attitude of the car. That's why so many 944 drovers, especially track mutts like me, have tried different setups.
Bear in mind that as M758 alludes to, there are "infinity minus one" different suspension upgrades available for our cars, ranging from just stiffer springs to coil over kits, upgraded torsion bars, helper springs...etc. Add to the mix camber plates, adjustable shocks, delrin bushings, alignment settings, tire width, and you've got quite a lot of adjustability.
And you need to factor in the fact that your suspension needs to match your driving style....
So no, there is not a single answer. And there are just as many (if not more) BAD setups than good setups.

I kind of like that; with the Audi scene the options are rather limited: only x ammount of manufacturers make springs/coils; only Hotchkis for Sway bars (and only in 1 size), etc.
that's why this is so great

Yeah, Once you start looking for tenths of a second a track set-up can go alot of different directions and frankly needs to since it must adjust to the driving style of the owner. Heck we have not even gotten into changing the set-up for each track. Baseline however is pretty easy. The 30 /19 is good baseline set-up.
