Thank you Lord, for beautiful days
Just got back from a mountain/valley cruise (I live in a great driving area) and I still cant stop smiling.
My oil pressure is acting all "gremlin-y" again, strange pressure drops when turning right and stopping. And my exhaust has a leak, that sounds like a damn VW Beetle, but the turbo peaks at 1.8 BAR and my *** is still tingling.
Nothing feels as good as a 944T engine at 4500 RPM and pulling...IMHO.
Hope you all had a good P-day!

Race Car
70 and Sunny , to bad I haven't had a chance to go for a drive. I may have to take a spin to home depot in a bit, but I should really take the mini-van for that , or can I fit 10' of 1/2" copper pipe in the P-car

Hey Water:
I know how these guys feel. Until last year I lived in Roachester New York. Today, here in Tucson the wife and I had the 944 out, we washed it, made it look pretty and took it out for a few hours. No snow, no rain, temp in the mid 70s.
Keep the faith, guys..Pretty soon you will have the nice weather and I will be in the low 100s.
It all evens out.....
Cheers!!

Three Wheelin'
Funny thing...Just the other sunny day, I spent a few hours driving around in my 944 with the sunroof off, a Z3 2.8, a 2002 WRX...all with a beautiful girl. We sat in a 3.2 Carrera and sniffed the leather, too.

Zero degress (both F and C) and kind of raining and sleeting in Toronto. Glad I put the car in the garage last night.
Where's "here", Thadeus?
It's not raining in Vancouver??? Wierd.

You guys need to live here in sunny New Mexico...
For 100k, you can have a nice pad, +2 acres.
The sun shines 330 days a year. Great if you are a golfer, as there are 5 seriously good courses within 45 minutes of my house. And dont even get me started on the incredible mountain courses up near Riudoso.
The temperature on New Years Day was around 65/70 degrees. It has snowed twice in 10 years, at least times that the snow stuck for more than 20 minutes.
The temperature now at 12PM is 78 degrees. ( Of course in July it can climb to over 110!) (My personal record here is 114, the tar on the roads was melting)
Land is CHEAP. And just 1 1/2 hours away is great snow skiing. Or you could live near the river, or maybe you prefer lakes...
Its a college town, no shortage of hotties, and they refresh the crop every year!
The cost of living is really really low.
The state has a lower poulation than Dallas, while being larger than most other states. This means that there are a LOT of places you can drive without seeing anyone for 2-3 hours. (can you say "fast"?)
(Drawbacks) No decent shopping, dining (unless you like Mexican food), employment or P-mechanics worth a snot. But El Paso is 45 minutes, and Mexico is 50 minutes.
Its not so bad though, once you get used to the laid-back lifestyle. Dont expect to have to make reservations for dinner, and wear casual.
And manana (tomorrow) is a way of life here. (Mahn-yana, is the pronunciation for you poor freezing Yanks and Canucks.
