Post Front Antisway Bushing Advice requested

OK, my front antisway bushings are shot. 87 951.

I want an 'upgrade' from OEM, but nothing too harsh.

So, lads and ladies, what's the best choice for a relatively inexpensive price?

And does anybody just sell them in a set? I don't like this business about 'order 4 of a and 6 of b unless 3 of c except when you have option d'.... I'm an overstressed freak and I'll order the wrong stuff.

thanks in advance

Uh, you talking sway bars here? Or federal income tax forms?

Jim, couldn't resist...

I'm interested in this as well. I have an 87 951 that I'm just getting familiar with, and notice the right front sway bar bushing is going bad. From what I can tell this is due to leaks in the power steering system. I figured it would be a simple matter to find a quality set of aftermarket poly bushings, but so far no luck.

I know the poly ones can be had cheap in various sizes at Hot Rod joints. Maybe some of those would fit if we knew the sizes.

Otherwise, I'll just get the OEM, they'd be way better than the crushed/chewed up crap I have on there now.

Skip, can you tell me what to order on the Paragon site for the front antisway, 87 951, non M030? There's too many parts there...

87 951 came standard with a 25.5mm front sway bar:
- mid-bar (x2) 951.343.794.02
- bar-end (x2) 951.343.793.30
- drop-link (x4) 951.343.795.01

If your car came equipped with option 030 or 758, then the bar diameter changes to 26.8mm.

Too many parts, eh? Damn, and I just added more tonight.

Good Luck!
