Post help with stripped and rusty rotor screws

well the title pretty much explains it all. just started the front brakes and the screws that hold the rotor on are rusty and one is stripped. the other will probably be stripped soon if i put full force into it. can anyone offer some help for getting them out? i've heard of using an easy out but are there any other options?

A small sharp chisel and hammer. Use the chisel to turn the screw until it initially breaks loose. You'll probably be able to use pliers to finish getting it out. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

Try Aerokroil. Broke 190,000 miles of corrosion off and I was able to back the screws out no problem. Orange can. Should be able to get it at like CarQuest/Napa/Checker. Then once the screw is loose back it in and out a couple of times. Usually breaks all the crap free. Then the screws come out no problem. Spray a little more aerokroil in there and voila... Shouldn't have any more problem's as the stuff is a rust inhibitor, silicon based. Pretty cool acutally.

Drill them out and don't worry about replacing them. The wheel will hold the rotor on.

is that really a good enough solution? i know there are 2 other pieces that keep the rotor in place so maybe that would work. or are you just trying to get me killed?

great now another problem presents itself. this has not been a good day. got the caliper off the front right wheel and drained a bunch of the brake fluid (replacing with ate super blue). i'll drill out the screw tomorrow and finish with that one. so i move on to the front left wheel to try to go the same distance and the most retarted thing ever happened. the fifth lug nut broke now i'm working on a solution to get off the piece that still on the lug. i guess whoever tightened them last did it with an air gun and really sunk it. the only part that's left on is the round part at the end - nothing to turn with tools. ugh
