Default Help identify aluminum control arm

I can't find the control arm I have listed anywhere. I have documentation that one of the PO's replaced the control arms 20K miles ago, so they're not original. They have "PORSCHE" molded in them and a date stamp of 89. Part numbers are:

951 341 149 10
951 341 150 10

The PET program says "part number unknown" when I do a search.

I'm upgrading the suspension to M030 parts, so I've been looking at part numbers.

Any ideas why I have an unlisted part number?

Tom

1986 offset aluminum control arms. They came only on the 1986 model are are the "short" aluminum control arms. In 1987 Porsche added the ABS option which required a different wheel offset and thus, longer control arms, longer tie rods and different strut mounts.

The 149 is the drivers side and the 150 is the passenger.

There was no change for control arms as to the M030 spec for the 944. The 968 M030 added some tabs for cooling ducts but better aftermarket brake cooling systems can be had without the use of those.

The casting number on the a-arm molds (and often many other parts) do not match the porsche catalog/part numbers for the a-arm assemblies. All the alum. a-arms are in the 944/951.341.27(28).XX part number range.

The only difference between a 944 M030 a-arm and non-M030 is the durometer of the rubber bushing (M030 was available for late offset only). There is only one 968 arm. No unique part for the 968 M030 option, nor different bushing. The 968 arms all have the brake scoop tabs.

Thanks Jim, that explains it. I'll have to see if I can find the bushing alone. The PET manual does not list a part number for just the bushing.
