Turboprop - Nice 930...my dad had one just like it. Stolen after three months. <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" /> Coolest car I've ever driven. And I can't believe how good that 944 looks in that ridiculous green!

the truck sold in 2001, to finance the 300z. and the mr2 sold in 2002, just didn't have the power i wanted. scariest vehicle i own is the pocket rocket...throws my *** off a lot...lol. road rash.

turbopop,
Are you in PA? I saw a 944 painted in the same color green you've got your car painted in lower bucks county (near montgomeryville) about a year ago.
I can't remember if it was the exact color green, but with a color that rare (and I'm sure it's not factory), was it you?

Mideast,
WAY! Actual photo.
Count them....59 - 924 Carrera GTS's. This is what was built for Group 4 homologation. The only watercooled four banger to carry the "CARRERA" badge. 58 were guards red (my personal favorite color and the color of my 944 & 951), 1 white (prototype). 2,473lbs, 245hp. 0-60 in 6.2sec and top speed of 155.
DerSchlectSpect,
How were you able to move your fence all the way from Germany to Rumson, NJ?

my '83 stock 944 with non-functional a/c (a great thing to have this time of year in Phoenix), the family taxi '98 Chevy Astro conversion, not pictured, my son's '86 300ZX.

Nope, not in PA, just painted the car this past winter. For the record, your right, not a Porsche color, it's VW beetle Cyber Green. Looks pretty slick in the sun (pearlescent)
Just replaced the Jetta this weekend with this. Not a ton of power, but it really does handle like a go-kart, unreal.

i've only had this for a few months and i don't have any paperwork to go with it. sounded like the guy i bought it from wasn't the original owner either. the car was made in april of 1982, so it doesn't have a lot of 'standard' things. it was repainted before i got it, but seems to be the same color as before (no hidden colors). what type of wheels would have come on this year? anyone out there have an owner's manual they could copy for me??
thanks
