Steve, you're the man when it comes to putting runs together. I'll try to make it but I probably won't be able to!

I'd like to but with two jobs and school its hard to find time for anything, including the 951. This would be the perfect time for me to get a real feel of quattro. That is, if I can get off work and catch up on my maintenance.

Glad to hear you are still hanging in there Brad. Hope you and Keith can both make it. By going earlier this year we should have good weather.

It won't be like last year though. Unless it snows there shouldn't be anything but clean dry roads like our first year. I understand about your paint though, we all took a serious blow from the cindered roads. Besides, if you drive fast enough the rocks won't have time to attack!

I wish that were true unfortunately the faster you go the deeper they penetrate your paint layers!

Sorry just my lame attempt at humor...If the road reports aren't good I won't be doing that run again myself.

As great as that road was to drive, I am going to have to pass. No road is worth $4,000 in paint damage repairs. My 951 now only ventures out to clean roads, and thus its shiny new paint will stay right where Porsche intended it to stay.

i will come, but it will most likely be in the 325es, with an "i" motor installed.. although valid, what's the fun of motoring if there are paint worries...
