Post Mounted and framed some 924 and 931 ads

My girlfriend matted, mounted, and framed some 924 and 931 ads that I have collected, mostly from the "Consumer Orientation" series from the late '70s and early '80s. The frames we used were about 27.5"x40", from Ikea. We own a mat cutter so we used multiple cuts in a single sheet of matboard. Total for both frames, ads, matboard, and material was around US$120. One frame was reserved for 924-specific ads, the other for the 931 ads. Anyway, here is a picture.

In the middle is an original German-language dealer poster I bought a while back.

Here's a little better detail of the 931 set.

Comments are appreciated!

Turbo,
Those look great!! I have two of the ads which you have on the 924 board. I have the one that reads "On the track or on the road...." in the upper left(it came out of a vintage R&T which I had which featured B&B prepped 911 and 924). Best part about that ad is the listing of sticker prices next to each car. I also have the 2-page spread in the lower left, along with a couple more. I never thought about mounting them collage-style like you did. Now you have me thinking.... <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

That really looks nice. I have always wanted to do something similar, but the posters, ads, and framing seem to cost too much money. BTW, does anyone have a scanned 944 brochure?
