Post Some cool new goodies on my site

This is a good opportunity for you who do not know the story of the I'll Fated Rebuild to catch up. For you who have read it, stop by and check out some of the new goodies.

Feel free to leave thoughts and comments. I have had a little extra time over the last week to "touch it up", since there is no longer a rush to get the car done.

Cheers!

Phaahhaaahhhhaaa! Finished it? I have a long way to go. Most of the interior is back together, and some exterior parts are back on. I'd say I have about 3 more weeks of work to get everything but the motor back in. Of course there are pics of each big step along the way.

Unfortunately, no pistions, so no motor anytime soon.

You should use the shorter domain name I gave you: http://perry.type951.com/

Where are the "goodies?"
Looks cool.

You never told me the FTP info, not to mention it would be a real bitch to move it all over. Although the index could go there.

If you guys can tell me how it all loads for you, speed, errors, etc, it would help a lot. Some of the applet strings for the effects are a bit long, so I am wondering if they are all showing for you.

Loaded nice, I Like the rain effects and all the emblem stuff... I was not aware of what you have gone thru. Your dad is what all dads should strive to be.. mom included.. but as the old man and the sea eventually never figured out.. there is a point that it is time to move on.. alas though I understand the need to get by all this. I congratualate you on your tenacity.. I went thru this very thing on a car once. It's not the result, but the journey that you will remember.. and it will always be that one car... and no female can ever get that... good luck and thanks for giving us late comers a chance to hear of the adventure..

The phoenix will rise again.

Nice site! I like the story book layout. One comment, the dyno run charts took some time to load. I am having a slow connection day so it could be on my end. Might check the file size of those pictures.

Your father sounds like a great guy, sound like you have a lot of respect for him. Nice to have somone on your side when things go bad.

187k on the files there. I will reduce them this evening. Thanks! This is what I am looking for.

Also, I will get the links back up for the paint, LED installs, and parts. I lost the MODS page, and the one up there now does not link.

Glad you enjoy it, and thanks for the kind words.

Were you referring to me when you wrote this? It's not a completely new host, as you probably have since noticed. Just a redirect with a cool name. No problemo bro.

By the way, you know I could go on and on with compliments about you and your ride, how you are sticking with it, taking it to the '44 instead of the other way around. Pretty cool. If a tenth of the 951 owners around the world had your heart there would be no 951's in the junk heap.

All the cool graphics and effects are working now. You should put up a guestbook so people can voice their comments on your site. Looks awesome.

Take care,
Matt

Hey, I like the 951 a lot but one question...Why the Japanese bike? I'd figure a man with a german line-up like that you might as well continue the Euro trend with an Aprillia or Ducati!!! In my opinion those are 'real' bikes.

Hi Perry,

Really - a terrific site!!! Loads fast, the plug-ins work great - and it is fast (OK - I'm on a fast connection right now:-) (And I have an idea Matt has a great host system/network - outstanding Matt!!!)

I really like the "water" effect in the frame headers - as well as the graphics overall. Really nice....!!! Here is the link for the rest of you:

Thanks for all the comments.

The bike.. I bought it back in college, new, in the crate. I love that bike. Unforunatley, it is all but sold. At the time, I could not afford a Ducati, but I sure would like one.
