Will they be able to hold up to the stress of dyno runs?

They weren't designed with that use in mind but I don't see why not. The weakest point will be the car's sheetmetal where they bolt to.

After pondering for a couple hours, dyno SHOULD be fine. The points we're using to attach are same as factory used for tie-downs for shipping (ie-ocean ship, truck, etc). Bracket and hardware can take it. Intended purpose of design is for tie-down for towing or pulling the car out of tire-wall type stuff. Obviously, I can't be liable for any damage when not used for intended purpose.

Humm, it is tempting to try it for dyno tie downs, those would be nice and easy to get to.

Normally shipping tie down points are strong enough, but then again there is that worry that they would just let go.....

I'm going to look at my car, and see if it looks like they will hold, having a car come flying off the rollers wouldn't make for a good weekend.....
