Post I want this car.........

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1828338804&r=0&t=0

I've never seen one in that color but I kinda like it. Let's see.......I've gotta choice here:

A)Don't buy the car and my pregnant wife lets me live

B)Buy this car, don't buy her the Odyseey, drive it home from Florida, and let the wife kill me. Ofcourse, the bad point would be that I'm dead. The good point is that it's not supposed to rain between here and Florida for the next few days and I could put the top down, besides we're all going to croke sooner or later.

Decisions, Decisions.

I missed that it was an auto...oh well put that one in my downside. I wonder............ if she'd only slit my right wrist then I could still drive the 968.

Did it say 6 cyl? Is this another case of "we just sell them- we don't look under the hood"?

Yeah, what the ad doesn't tell you is that this is Porsche's version of Cadillac's 4/6/8 engine. But, in Porsche's version it runs on either 6, 8 or 9 cylinders, depending on the throttle pedal position, thus the reason for the name.......968. Porsche had to make this update as the 951 version was really tough to engineer. My car gets great gas mileage on 1 cylinder and performance is stupendouse when I'm hitting on all 9.

Seriously, it's depressing how many dealers will sell a car, especially one as devine as a Porsche, and not do their homework on the car.

Talking

That is a beautiful car however, I wouldn't mind an auto in a 968 as long as I can keep my 951

ELLSSUU,, What are you talking about,, If I read you right, Which I probably didnt. You are saying that the 968 has variable firing cylinders. 6 cylinders 8 cylinders and 9 cylinders. The 968 only has 4 cylinders, what you said makes no sence. There Is not one Porsche in existance that uses variable cylinder firing.

People that get automatic sports cars should be shot!

(With the ocasional exception of a true F1 style system - and no porsche's tiptronic doesn't qualify - junk - slush box!)
