Post Getting the head fixed!

Im dropping the car off tomorrow to get the head gasket replaced. while the head is off the mechanic will do a three angle valve job, stem seals, seats...

Any other suggestions? Have visa will charge.

Now my stock 944$2 is in Box$ter territory. I'll keep you posted on the total cost, and surprises. <img border="0" alt="[ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" />

Heater hose, heater valve, radiator hoses. Check all vacuum lines to see if they are hard or cracked. New seals on the injectors, could also get you injector cleaned, check fuel lines. Return hose on the PS pump, new belts.

Charge it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

most of the hoses are relatively new from the O ring jobs. the $80 hose with three connections in the middle has 2k miles on it. hopefully the insides haven't been destroyed yet. i will change them again in about a year if no new oil leaks.

injectors; i thought about that yesterday. i will price it today. thanks.

new belts, yeah thats in the original plans, along with check the water pump.

i guess the other stuff will be evident as he starts excavating towards the head gasket.

thank$ Brian.
