Such beautiful cars. Such irresponsibility. Are these types of events sponsored by the Traffic Court Lawyers Association?
I don't condone this type of behavior, but it would be fun to participate, the Playboy Mansion

Interesting video for eye candy purposes but these folks have no business on the same roads we share. Your family and my family drive the same roads and may get wrapped around a tree b/c of these morons.
Im especially ticked at those Porsche drivers. Anybody driving their beautiful Porsche like a complete imbecile shames us all. Ferry Porsche wanted us to have fun, safe fun, within the laws. Not cruise around like missiles w/o regard for everyone else. Ferrari owners or whatever can drive as they please, but I would hope a Porsche owner knows a little more about reservation an humility. If you want to drive like this, take it to the track. A true Porsche driver is one of the safest, most considerate on the road because he/she understands the power and limitations of not only their car, but those of others and the driving skills of others.
Cool video, but I say in a soapbox-ish sort of way that its the last thing we need as Porsche owners. Sometimes we've met the enemy and he is us. Not trying to be an ogre or anything but I tihnk you get my drift. <img src="graemlins/soapbox.gif" border="0" alt="[soapbox]" />

Last summer some englishman arranged similar "race" from London to Moscow.During that "race" they drove through the southern part of Finland too.I saw them.... Nice cars, but drivers were just a punch of idiots ! They drove over 250 km/h on the roads where speed limit was 120 km/h (that's the maxium speed here in Finland)You can just imagine what kind of danger situation that caused.I was also stopped three times within one hour by police. The only reason for that was my Porsche.I hope i will not see those idiots here in Finland never again !

"Money aside, I'm still unclear as to how they didn't all wind up in jail, at least for the day."
Oh they did! One sheik got busted for going 187mph in a 70 zone in his Ferrari and ended up in jail. When he got out, he was busted again just 4 miles down the road going 100+ over the limit. He was also the guy throwing handfuls of C-notes out the window as he blasted through small towns (I guess to compensate them for the noise).
