Are the Kuhmos any better than what you have? I thought you were running Dunlops?

I can't say about the offset, but I can say--those are some funky looking wheels! Is that supposed to be a carbon fiber or alligator skin look?

Yes, I'm running Dunlop SP8000's: I've really liked them, but they did wear quite quickly, and I'm considering stepping up a level. Maybe the Kumho's aren't the best choice. Still researching this, but I have some time 'till the season begins. Everytime I seek advice or read up on a new tire, my decision changes: I'm only frustrating myself at this point!

I know how you feel, my CC's are still naked. FWIW, I picked up my winter tires today from the storage place so I think I'll weigh 'em tomorrow. I'll be installing them in the next few days so I'll weigh the Fuchs when they come off, too.

<strong>thanks, link fixed

I haven't test fit the wheels yet as it just started snowing.

The only reason I'm worried about the offset is that I want to go up to a 275/40 when I replace the tires...and I dont think there's any way that'll fit with a 48 offset...especially when lowered...

thanks,

My RUF wheels are 17x9" with an ET of 44 and they fit perfect with the rear lowered to the max in the rear. See the links for my pics.

I don't think that it would be wise to go up to 275 mm tires on 9" wide rims, the tire would move to much and grip could be affected negatively...

Little problem there...far as I know Eurotire was the last place to have the wheel lock key...and they said they put it back in the car. It's not anywhere to be found in the car or anywhere around the car as of yet...

And one of the lugs was found to be lose (only 1 wheel was checked), yes, Eurotire was the last place to touch the lugs.

Will have to see if I can find that key...

They are carbon fibre look, by the way.

I'm gonna use the rubber thats on the tires now BFG R1

If anyone is curious I weighed my wheels last night. A Cookie Cutter with 215-60 Cheapo tire weighed 30lbs. My 16" Phone Dial with a 245/45-16 Toyo Proxes T1-S weighed 8lbs more at 38lbs...

I tested my bathroom scale with a couple of different weight dumbbells so I think it is pretty close.
