Specialtool,
Stup as it sounds, I actually met them at a self serve car wash. Only in Vegas, right? They gave me their card and they called me about using the car about a year and a half ago. I did some research on them on the internet and such and it seemed they were legit. Like I said they never got back to me. After seeing the trailers for the movie though, I doubt they would've used my car. I don't think it would've fit in.

adrial,
I didn't get your post to specialtool.

Adrial - you're right, I have done it 14 times. Up to the 5th time, it was probably funny. By the 18th time, it will no longer be funny - not as funny as the 4th time, anyway.

The cars were not from the first movie. I am not sure whether they were extra cars used in the shoot or one of the main cars since I have not seen the movie. I just sold a 300zx LSD to a guy with a 240sx today. I think he is prepping his car for the rice or race wars. It doesn't really matter I guess as long as they enjoy their car. I was actually told that the 240 sx drives like a 944. The funny thing is in the first movie, I recognize the streets they were driving through. It was by San Pedro next to one of the LAPD police impound yards. From what I heard, the sequel probably has corporate sponsors just like that movie with Sylvester Stallone where he was frozen and reanimated in the future. I forgot the name of the movie but it reminded me of a big extended commercial for Taco Bell where the future fast food chain became the premier restaurant chain in the future LOL. I tell ya its so tempting to put these ricers in their place when they are revving their engines when I drive next to one. Too bad my last ticket took my license for a month. These guys are probably just too young to recognize what a 89 951S is all about especially when I have no badges on the car at all. Catch me on the right day and I may just "decimate them" as the guy in the first movie would say......

The movie was surprisingly good. It had more of a real plot than the first one, and it actually had real cars in it this time(well some).

As for the product placement, if i am not mistaken i think i saw a "meguiars" banner hanging in the demolition derby arena. That would be a stupid place to put an ad for car polish if it were in real life. And of course "street glow" must have paid big for this movie.

I would also try to avoid the streets. I went on opening night just to see the crowd. I went to see it in a city type area(as opposed to rural area) becuase i knew that the ricers would be out in full effect. They were actually parked in sort of gangs(like biker gangs i suppose). They were all standing around their cars as if it were some sort of car show. They were blasting their radios and revving their engines quite a lot too. The theatre i went to see it at, had the movie showing every 30 mins. so you can imagine the crowd. I would also say that there had to be about 2 million dollars worth of rims and neon lights in the parking lot.

I liked the actress who played Mia Torreto in the first movie. Also, too bad Vin Diesel is not in there. If this one is better than the last one, maybe I will rent it when it comes out. BTW, there is an alarm shop with the movie banner advertising the "neon used in 2 fast 2 furious". Does that mean we can do away with street lights and just rely on the illumination of these neon lights or the flame from the tailpipes in the near future?

Ryan Z,
I didn't even know that came on the amoured 750's.
I only have the windows that are firearm resistant. I don't have the kevlar in the doors as far as I know, let alone the intercom. That's incredible. Would've liked to see that.

Specialtool,
I get it now. I'm still new here. No reason to lie. Not even a big deal.
