Default Porsche parts and labor warranty at authorized Porsche dealers.....

Hi,

The Porsche Warranty and Customer Information Booklets that I have seen offer a warranty on Porsche parts (and labor) if they are purchased and installed by an authorized Porsche dealer...

Parts supplied by Porsche Cars N.A. and purchased from and installed
by an authorized Porsche automobile dealer at time of purchase are
covered for 2 years, unlimited mileage from the date installed.

Porsche Cars N.A. will repair or replace using new or remanufactured
parts distributed by Porsche Cars N.A., at its sole option, any part covered
under this warranty that is defective in material or workmanship under
normal use. Parts that were sold and installed by an authorized Porsche
automobile dealer will be repaired or replaced without charge either for
parts or labor. If installed by anyone else, the cost of the replacement
parts or accessories will be borne by Porsche Cars N.A., (even in the
case of emergency repair), but labor charges will be your responsibility.

Does anyone know if this also applies to the 944?

Yes it does. Porsche still supplies parts to 944 owners.

Yes, if you have parts replaced at the dealer there is a 2 year parts warranty.

YES. Sorry I didn't get back to you, my old shop does not have the labor guides still, just the manuals. As I explained in our convo's, ANY repair done at the dealer, no matter what the car, is covered as long as it was thier parts, and thier labor. You think someone with an old 911 would be having thier car fixed at a dealer if they had no warranty?? Dont let them screw u just cuz it's a 944.

Maybe share your story on here for more input from others Polo...

Wow, I never knew that....

The parts and labor are covered for 2 years...

BTW, no worries, you have been VERY helpful, everyone hear always is...

I just wish there was some way of getting a copy of that actual Porsche warranty time page... or something close, that is the one thing that I really need...!
