Default Help: Can't get horn to work on momo steering wheel?

Just installed a Momo steering wheel on my 944.

From my search, it appears for the 911, the back round piece from the OEM steering wheel must be removed (attached w/ 3 screws) and reattached to the hub adaptor. Do I need to do this on the 944 as well? As the horn currently won't work.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Can you post a picture of your set up? Your description sounds about right, but I hesitate to say anything without knowing for sure.

There should be a small ring that came with your MOMO stearing wheel.

Turn left.

*Inside joke* Last week at my SCCA race after running all weekend, Wipeout went to move my car to the trailer. Though I have no horn button every time he turned the wheel left, the horns beeped. It was quite entertaining as he drove the car out to the trailer impound beeping merrily along

Removing the actual horns is on the list of TODO's before the next race...

I also installed a Momo wheel. The turn indicators would not automatically turn
off. The small tang that protrudes from the bottom of the wheel was not of
sufficient length to cancel the turn indicators. I removed the ring you spoke
of (with a tang attached) and fastened it on the new momo wheel and
everything works great.
If I remember correctly, when I first installed the wheel, the horn did not work
so I flipped the ring provided over and that fixed the problem.
