I seem to remember a PorscheFans discussion about how much chilled beer fit into the back 3 "cubbys", iced down and everything!

Something like this guy was going to some large party or tailgating sort of thing and he was going to "bring the beer"

So he unplugged all the drain holes and iced down something like 6 cases of brew and served it out of his hatch!

Said condensation formed on the rear hind quarters and his car had quite a puddle following it around...

Hmmmm, next Rennlist gathering?

There's also room infront of the rear wheel wells. All you have to do is carefully pry the plastic tab down on the vent and it pops right out.

It's a small opening, but there's a fair amount of room in there. ...for ****.

A Porsche probably isn't the best car to be hiding $hit in. The man likes to pull Porsches over.

I never thought that mu ther $**** would be so funny.

However, under the horn pad and shif boot, I had never heard of.

BTW, who do you get the horn pad off?

I've got an 88. Still applicable?

You won't need to hide it if you flush.

In my wife's 16v, I keep a fiddy hidden under the ashtray - just in case she ever needs some emergency funds. And no, she dosen't know about Rennlist, so it should still be there tomorrow.

If it's a non airbag model, just grab both sides and pull towards yourself.

What, so as you drive you get high since it gets so hot under there? Just say no.

I carry a knife (legal size, not concealed weapon, but readily accesible) and a pair of "num-chucks" in the door panel (I'm not a ninja like www.realultimatepower.com but I can handle them fairly well). I'm going to make a leather sleave that will allow me to keep them to the right of my knee, against the side of the panel.

Just for protections sake. Never had to use them, thank goodness. But nice to know they're there.

The purpose of this post was to see what kind of extra spaces are arround in the 944. I'm not saying that I use them (necessiarly).

BTW, how much room is behind the horn pad? Pack of cards size? Larger perferably.

Funny post though.....

I don't think you could fit cards back there, there may be that much volume of space, but with the wheel nut being in the way you probably can't fit a pack of cards in there.

I've always used the cubby holes to hide alcohol, hard alcohol anyways. And no, there's no chance of it being combustible unless it's 151 or higher. After an extensive test of trying to light vodka on fire did we come to that conclusion =P
