Hello,
I've used the rearch option (on different fora), but i could not find a decent picture of a reinforced oil pick-up tube. Could anyone help me to get one?

Not sure how well the reinforcement in the picture would work (?). Is the tube hose clamped tight to the bracket? Otherwise it will still allow vibration, which is the source of fatigue cracking at the base of the tube.
The tubes that I have had reinforced, tig weld the tube to the base support all around the external seam shown in the picture above. Originally the tubes are only seal welded on the inside to the base/bracket. In addition, the tabs that bolt the pickup and return tubes together are also reinforced using an additional strap of metal and tig welding to the tubes. The original tabs are pretty thin, so if there is excess vibration (especially when running w/o balance shafts or w/ them incorrectly timed), the tabs can either crack or the bolt/nut can come loose and fallout. So also a good idea to red loctite that bolt/nut or put on lock washers.

I would like to see the bend reinforced otherwise you are just transfering the vibration directly to the weakest point in the support. (pls excuse my ps skills).
