If I won the lotto, at least one of the bigger jackpots, I think I would take a different route.

A RUF would make a fine daily driver, but something completely different would be required for the track:

<a href="http://www.race-cars.com/carsales/other/1053625822/1053625822ss.htm" target="_blank">Arrows FA-15: $150,000 with a motor, spares extra</a>

Perhaps I could make the jump across the pond and compete in the BOSS series.

If I payed enough, I'm sure that RUF would build me a 944 Turbo R. LOL, I'd love to see that!

i would buy none of the above. i would either get a 1967 911R, <img src="http://www.toadhallracing.com/toad-112.jpg" alt=" - " /> <img src="http://www.rennline.com/gallery1/image/67911r8.jpg" alt=" - " />

or a 356 Carrera speedster, or a 356 Carrera 2 (hmmm.. 4 cam fun!), or.. 73 carrera rs.. or maybe an rsr. hmmm.. or a 904!!!!!
what can i say.. im a big fan of the classics.

or i could get one of these... this is the sexiest outlaw ever...

(yes, this is a 356!!)
<img src="http://www.partsobsolete.com/images/b61.jpg" alt=" - " />

and in it i would throw this custom 911 engine (with 4 cyls!) just to keep with some originiality in heart, but to also be a ruthless outlaw! then i would throw some turbo chargers etc on her! then i would have the badest mo fo old school out law ever!

<img src="http://www.hillmanimages.com/nw9/images/jt_14.jpg" alt=" - " />

who needs ruf or gembella when you have Gary and Rod Emory of parts obsolete!

If I had a lot of money I'm sure I could convince someone to stick a 5.4L 928 V8 into a tube-frame 944.
I hear there's a different crank available that will give you 6L. Now add a supercharger or maybe a turbo. Problem would be to find a tranny that would hold up. It would also be important to keep most of the interiour looking like a stock 944.

Someday maybe....

Talking

I forgot about Rook. Shame on me... <img border="0" alt="[nono]" title="" src="graemlins/nono.gif" /> .

This is all about the German tuners so keep in that arena.

However, I'm sure if I had the $$ a 1973 911 3.0 Carrera would be in my garage next to the RUF R turbo (or maybee the Biturbo, or maybee the Techart ).

I think I'd have to go with the RUF RTurbo... but even if I could afford one, I couldn't justify having a car I know I can't drive to it's limit. I feel it's a bit like the poseur thing with SUV owners who never go offroading.
