Anyone use Total Seal rings in a 944 engine?

I'd like to hear some thoughts on Total Seal rings. A friend of mine swears by them. I'm wondering if anyone has used them in a 944 application. I have a normally aspirated car, but the turbo guys can chime in too. Is there any drawback to them, do they work as advertised, and how much are a set?
Thanks,
Bryan

My dad just had his NA race engine rebuilt by a local guy who insisted on Total Seal rings and only them. He only builds race engines, and for all sorts of applications, so I would definitely say there is an advantage to them.

Not a good idea...unless you sleeve your engine.
I think you should only use factory rings if you plan to keep the factory bore or you'll scratch it up.
Apparently total seal rings in standard aluminum and sleeved engines kick butt.

Call EBS ... I use only the #2 total seal ring in my 400 hp 944 turbo race motor. Total seal makes a ring that is compatible with alusil stock sleeves. They are fantastic! I only used the #2 ring from total seal .. the other rings are stock pcar rings. Call EBS they sell tons of these for stock blocks. They special order them from total seal.
