Thinking of adding another switch in front of the shifter for a kill switch. What would be the a goof wire to use from the DME and what color. Thank you in advance for any assistance. This has been a very helpful board in the past and present for working on these cars.

I don't know if this pertains to the late model (it does on my early) but you could splice a switch into the positive (12V) supply to the ignition switch itself.
When the ignition switch is activated, it drives the solenoid to push the starter out (bendix type), so by switching off power to the ignition switch you have a kill switch as well as not having to worry about messing with the DME.
That's my opinion though, and I KNOW there are people with better info than that (but it works for me).

Pin 1 (large green wire) is the coil ground. Splice into that. Make sure your kill switch cannot be hit when you are thrashing around grabbing gears.
I am not going to tell you where mine is, but there are other locations to put a switch that makes it convenient to hit on the way out of the car... say in a car jacking.
