Default What size wrench to bleed brakes?

Just want to make sure I got the correct size wrench to open the bleeder on teh calipers before I take my wheels off.

Also anyone know how tight you have to torque the bleeder valve?

thanks.

not very tight- you will be able to tell.

It might be 7mm, but I can't recall for sure- I do know I have to get out my set of tiny wrenches for it though.

thanks for the info I have both 7 / 11mm so shouldn't be problem, just thought it might be an offset wrench.

I just got my powerbleeder from paragon so hopefully this will be easy.

7 mm, bleed the pass. rear, then driver rear, then pass front and i think there is one more wheel to do last.

I changed mine out to 8mm speed bleeders. As I recall, the rears were 7mm and the fronts were 7 or 8mm.

ok another dumb question. Am I suppose to remove that little filter think inside the overflow tank before screwing on the power bleeder. It's a littel cup with a pinhole in it looks like it is there to prevent big piece falling into the tank.

do I take that out or leave it in?
