Dan87951 is from Michigan but I'm not sure how close to Detroit he'll be coming from. He is planning on attending the caravan though. Check his profile for an e-mail address and ask if he's interested. Again, welcome to the caravan... you Pelican guys aren't all that bad after all :-)

UPDATE.. For those of you inbound from the NW, Here is the best route..a small change from the other one I suggested.

80 East
4 South (appx 4 miles)
20 East (appx 10 miles)
250 South East (appx 10 miles)
13 South (30 miles)
30 East (5 miles)
Koogle Exit, South (1 mile)
430 West less than 1 mile
Oak Creek drive on the left.

This route is fast, yet relatively well kept 2 lanes at 55 MPH.. good Porsche roads. I'm not sure about any construction along that route. This will bypass the run thru downtown Norwalk (on 250) that pretty much sucks. Look on a map, you should see the route I mean. Bring towels.. car washing AND the other type.

Thanks for update Dan. I appreciate all of the direction assistance that you can give! Although getting lost in the Porsche and having to take some extra back roads is better than any good day @ work... should be a bumper sticker with that on it

That would put the time that we would meet @ 12:30'ish to 12:45'ish. How's that sound for time estimations for you?

*******UPDATEx2-UPDATEx2-UPDATEx2-UPDATEx2-UPDATEx2-UPDATEx2-UPDATEx2*******

OK, the second update of times and meeting places.

The people that have show interest in this caravan are:
-MichelleJD (unsure)
-Dan87951
-Jerad
-Bigyagi (from Pelican board)
-mrmunky & cass944 (just added)

The people from IL/WI should be @ the Niles/South Bend exit off of the toll road (80/90) at 10:30 Saturday morning. Again, I'll meet everybody in the car-pool parking lot right after you go through the toll booths, can't miss it. The exit is right after the huge corporate warehouse for The Tire Rack. It's maybe 1/2 mile after it on the right (literally can't miss it).

We would then drive and meet up with Jerad on the 69/80 exit off of the toll road (Jerad might want to suggest a specific spot to meet right there? My experience tells me that this will take around 1.5 hours to get to this meeting point. This will land us there @ 12:00 to 12:15 (+ or - 15mins.).

We will then drive further East into Ohio. We will then meet up with Dan87951 at where hwy 52 meets 80/90. I estimate that this should put us there around 12:30 to 12:45 (+ or - 15 Mins.).

As for "bigyagi", you asked if there was someone else coming down from MI. Well you can do one of two things meet up with Dan87951 in Adrian, MI and follow him down hwy 52 to meet up with us or drive independently to where hwy 75 and 80/90 (at this point it will also be called the Ohio Turnpike) and we'll meet up with you there. If we meet you there, I assuming it will be around 1:00 (+ or - 15 mins). It might be easier to meet up with Dan and meet us @ hwy 52. Let me know what you would like.

From 80/90 (again now called the Ohio Turnpike) we will follow the updated directions from Dan P. to Mansfield which are as follows:

80/90 (Ohio Turnpike) East
4 South (appx 4 miles)
20 East (appx 10 miles)
250 South East (appx 10 miles)
13 South (30 miles)
30 East (5 miles)
Koogle Exit, South (1 mile)
430 West less than 1 mile
Oak Creek drive on the left.

From the Niles/South Bend Exit, I am anticipated that this will take about 5 hours total for me.

I'll be e-mail this post to the above mentioned people through your e-mail addresses in your profiles.

Again if you have any questions you can e-mail me or post back to this thread.

OK, I'm a duffis (SP?). I sent out the e-mail to everybody, but I forgot to put in something on the subject line. So, if you get an e-mail with no subject from me (myporsche944@juno.com), it's not a virus and you can open it!

Sorry but it's late and I'm tired... need sleepy!!

Later,
Cory

Cory Cool,
Nice organizing. Do you plan to get off the turnpipe to meet me or should I get on the turnpipe to meet you?
