Post New thermo switch and thermostat, something is WRONG!

So, Mike and I replaced my thermo fan switch and my thermostat that I had bought from Pelican or Paragon? Anyway the thermostat is letting it run between the 2 and 3 hash mark and the fan doesn't kick on until the 3 mark.

Whats up???

Also, I hear all of this talk about fanS. I only have one. Is that normal?

Does your european version have A/C ? If not, that's probably why there's no second fan.

Jonathan, since yours is a Euro model, does it have A/C? That might explain the single fan.

As far as the fan coming on late, maybe you've got either a defective new switch, or an inaccurate temp gage (factory gages aren't always accurate). Maybe try putting hte old switch back in & see what changes, if anything. Both my '88 na & the 968 have consistently run on or just above the second hash mark (one up from cold), with the fan coming on about 1/2 way to the next mark in traffic or on long upgrades.

Jim, wondering why they put Braille markings on the keys of drive-thru ATM's???

Pressure bled it with a real pressure bleeder! (I love my garage)

No AC=one fan problem solved

The old thermo would run right below the first line. The new one, well I said that.
