Post spacer/stud (87 951)

Would installing a 7mm(0.27 inch) spacer require replacing the stock studs with a longer one ?

Thanks.

Most likely you'll need longer studs. Rule of thumb with fasteners is you want at least one diameter of engaged threads. So 14mm diameter stud would require 14mm/(1.5mm/thread) = 9.3 threads or turns. You ever noticed on the GT-based race cars, they have long-a** studs that stick 1-2" beyond the lug nut?
