I'm coming to this thread very late, sorry!. Where can I buy the Wurth spray paint? Any place retail?

Second, how do you mask the wheel from the tire? I've been thinking I had to dismount the tires, paint, re-mount, re-balance. What a PITA!. How about just deflating them some to sort of "tuck" the masking tape into the edge between tire and rim, then reinflate them after the job is done?

OK, my turm. I did my PDs last summer with Wurth's Silver and Clear Coat. Ordered the paint from carcare online. Results - disappointing. I sprayed three light coats on, before applying two coats of clear coat.

The silver spray finish was very rough, mostly on the lateral wheel areas (the curve of the wheel), almost like I should have sanded between each coat to get a smooth finish. The flat/facing areas of the wheel and the center caps are smoother, but not as good as it should be. Adding the clear coat didn't help much at all.

Other comments:
- Don't apply clear coat too heavily, it will run, AND it will eat into the silver paint, causing the paint to "crack"
- I shook the cans a lot. Didn't seem to be the issue.
- I waited over night before applying the clear coat.
- What ever you do, USE A RESPIRATOR!!!! The silver paint is bad enough, but the clear coat just about killed me, I was dizzy for days
