(Conditioned air: I put compressor and valve new for the ecological gas
without CFC. will need to load it of gas)
I bought my 944 recently via yahoo auctions in spain off a spanish guy that does'nt speak much english. In one of the e mails he sent to me he wrote the above!! I'm wondering what gas my air con needs? can i tell by looking at it what system I have? the numbers on the compressor front pulley are 047300 3243 1P it is a nippon denso unit.Is it possible it has been re sealed as i understand that the latest gas wont stay in with old type seals. If so how can i tell? It has scraeder type valves on the small cylinder behind the left hand head light and a pipe running above the r.h. inner wing does this tell you anything any help would be greatly appreciated Steve

The R34 will work just fine in the stock system. The original stuff is way to expencive and is bad for our planit. I use R34 and all is well.

is there a alternative to the Stock AC, maybe a smaller unit? or a different style of AC that can be relocated so it can still be used with the SC from SFR

thanks,
space
