Question Assembly oil?

The shop manual says use "Contifix or Capella-Oil B Wax-free (Texaco)" when replacing the rubber bushings that hold the steering rack in place. It also says "Capella assembly oil is no longer marketed. It is now replaced by Omnis 32." Question is: what is this stuff, why is it important, what does it do?

Bump.... I just know there is a smart rennlister who knows all about this detail of installing rubber bushings. BTW, I joined the rennlist special group deal with Meridian, bought a steering rack, and now want to install it the right way. So I know there are at least eight of you who might be in need of the same info!
