924S Odometer repair? Suggestions Please
I have a 1987 924S with an inoperative odometer. I want to send it off for repair. Can anyone give me a recomended shop and approximate cost? Thanks.

Let me take a wild stab in the dark, and say that your odometer and trip meter are frozen????
If yes then It is a simple repair that took me 20 minutes.
Over time, the odometer gear wears down from pressing the trip reset when the car is moving. Just buy a new one from a guy named scott levey. He is on the forum somewhere. It is cheap and very good. His instructions are very detailed, I was more than pleased with what he has to offer.

the 924s is different, it is the early style 944 guages... reach back and disconnect the wires, the guages push through the front, i have a used one you could buy, if you dont feel like pulling it apart, if not good luck fixing, i'd like to hear about that kit, i need to fix my dads 85.5 odo.
