Just remembered one from a magazine photo... probably C&D or R&T, a few years back... a newish, fairly up-market Mercedes, with "WAS HIS"...

Jim, out for the evening... <img src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" border="0" alt="[bigbye]" /> ...if my wife calls, find out who she is...

I almost hate to put this one out, for someday I may have one, and I'm kinda surprised nobody mentioned it;

Pretty basic... and boring I suppose... but now you know where I came up with my user ID and my website URL...

FWIW, I've had this plate for 17 years in MA!!

The plate is still on my '92 Audi 100S (it has been for 7 of the 17 years!!), but someday (when my Audi finally retires... at 193k miles, it still isn't showing any signs of age!!) I'll put it on the S2.

I wouldn't even think of putting that plate on my car. (It was suggested by a regular at the local pub while discussing this topic. Somehow the conversation turned into the "most tasteless plate" contest, that's all.)</strong><hr></blockquote>

Good. I think the sight of you being attacked on a fine Saturday morning by an angry mob of orthodox Jews is more than I could handle.

The PO of my car had the pennsylvania tag that read "944S2"!

im too cheap and too lazy to store the plates every year instead of turning them in to put "RX HVN" on the convertible.

I know someone who has a 92 Cup Car and his tag reads Cup Car. Then he has another one that reads clubrcr (club racer). I'm probably one day soon going to get one for my 87 944S that says 944Samm...kinda boring but unique <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />

I have a Dare plate on my car. Does any other states have them?

I once saw a RX-7 TT that said "NV84ME"

I like it! Did anyone guess it, or did you tell what it was somewhere in this thread? If so, I didn't see it, but I actually got it pretty quickly (I'm sure many other's did too)- I just read it over, really fast, several times-

LMN8DZZ

One of my personal favorites (and there have been SEVERAL contenders in this list) is:

PU55Y!

I hope to have it someday, but it would HAVE to be the right car. I saw a picture of it in a car mag in the late '80's- if I remember correctly, it was on a red 911 Turbo...
