Post suspension parts compatibility

I recently replaced my 88 944 non turbo with an 86 non-turbo. Have tons of new parts that were intended for the 88, some recently installed and some not installed, stil new in the box. These inlcude: a-arms (from an 89), new sealed struts, and tie rods.
Can I safely install the a-arms and struts from the later model year to the 86 without screwing up the suspension geometry.

Can I also transfer the heavier front sway bar from the 88 to the 86?

The 86 does need new a-arms and struts and I was hoping I could save a small fortune by transplanting the parts from the 88.

I was recently told that the 88 a-arm is significantly different from the 86. But what if I use the strut and tie rod from the 88? The steering rack is the same part #. Unless the chassis dimensions are different, a complete transfer should work? No?

Any information guys?

thanks

Bump, good topic.

Wondering if my 968 springs/shocks will bolt up to my 86 NA.

Call Jason ar Paragon. They helped me out. Did a great job. I have an 87S with the 474 sport package. And Porsche changed specs. They were able to get the right stuff.
