Default Help! Depressurizing fuel system

Hi All,

Some newbie emergency questions...

Jbob and I are on the way to the timing belt on his 924S.

The rotor was old and withered and it cracked as it came off. We dont have a replacement (yet).

Next step called for depressurizing the fuel system. To do that we have to start the engine?

Is there a way of doing it without starting the engine?

Thanks for any help!

If the car has been off for more than a few hours, it is already depressurized.
