Thumbs up

I hope everyone did not think I forgot about this!

Here are some facts on the group buy:

Pictures of the MATTE finish pedals will be available within one week.

Orders will be shipped out in order of payment receipt.

Production is expected to be about 10-15 sets/week and will begin after the first 10 orders.

The price for the 3pc. set is going to be $59 shipped in the USA and Canada. Add $11 for international shipping (contact me for payment after placing your order).

Currently, only the 3pc. design will be offered. I have tried several different dead pedal designs but could not come up with on that did not look "tacked" on and unprofessional.

I will continue to work on the dead pedal design and it will be compatible and be a match for these pedals (same hole designs, finish, etc.).

You may place your order here via PayPal:

<a href="http://www.autovation.net/groupbuy/suspendbody.html" target="_blank">http://www.autovation.net/groupbuy/body.html</a>

Here are the pictures! (Excuse the camera, I will have more professional pics at the end of the week)

I would also like to see the matte pictures too, I was wondering if I could buy it where the clutch says Porsche, and the brake says 944 on it.

I have added the option on the ordering page at:

<a href="http://www.autovation.net/groupbuy/body.html" target="_blank">http://www.autovation.net/groupbuy/body.html</a>

Lastly, in case it hasn't been obvious by the missing pictures, we have had a lot of problems with our web host service. Stay away from <a href="http://www.featureprice.com," target="_blank">www.featureprice.com,</a> we have been trying to switch hosts for 6 weeks now and it has been legal roadblock after legal roadblock. I expect a switch to be complete within the next 2 weeks. In the meantime, we will probably experience periods of downtime. I appreciate your patience, if the pictures and order form are not up please try again later. You will receive a confirmation e-mail within 48 hours of your order.

Thank you,
-Tony

Hi Tony....

I was reading this thread with some interest earlier today. However - instead of repeating myself - maybe you could go <a href="http://forums.rennlist.com/forums/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=007964;p=1" target="_blank">HERE - and Read the ENTIRE THREAD ABOUT GROUP BUYS....</a> . It will probably save me a little typing.

BTW: This may appear as an inopportune time to mention this, but.....

Use of the "PORSCHE" name and the distinctive FONT may be considered infringement. Just an observation.

I look forward to your response.

John,

I never thought about it that way. I whole-heartedly agree with you though. On the same note, as I'm sure you would guess as well, I don't think Tony thought of it that way. Yet he should have read the charter. It's much like a thread in the OT forum I responded to a few days ago (regarding "Gettaway in Stockholm"). ASK FIRST, then move with whatever answer is given. Not the other way around. It's just common courtesy.

Tony, maybe you should think about becoming a Rennlist Site Sponsor. I'm sure it will do you ALOT more good in the long run then just this one "group buy" could ever do.

Good luck to all involved. They sure are nice looking pedals though! Something else I never should have seen! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Hey Matt....

Honestly, if I thought Tony was out to do anything but assist Rennlisters, this thread would have been "over" a long time ago. For that - I'll be interested in Tony's reply to my post. The ball is in his court.

As well, there are no fewer then 14 "group buys" occuring in Rennlist as I write this. Only 6 folks have even bothered to ask permission, and 4 are from Rennlist Sponsors. To me, that says a lot of things, many of which I think you picked up on in my previous note on the 993 Forum.

So - I have a choice. I can let anyone post "Group Buys", or I can ask them to allow me the courtesy of at least asking first. If they are a Rennlist Member or a Sponsor - I have no problem at all. If I don't know who they are - then I do have a problem... For example - let's say someone posts a "Group Buy", and takes in tens of thousands of dollars (as in the 993 Forum). Then - they "disappear"..?? Who are you going to blame? Them? Nope - you can't find them. Me? Yep - probably.

And all that said - how about the Sponsors that actually support this site - so other unaffiliated vendors can post their "Group Buys"? And if YOU were a Sponsor, how would you feel about all this..????

Hmmmm....

I'll be interested to read Tony's remarks to this thread. So should you... And so should anyone.

And yes - the pedals look cool. But unfortunately. - it doesn't negate my comments.

John, if I wasn't clear -- I COMPLETELY agree with you! I'm very sorry, all of us should have thought about the Charter, and unfortunately none of us did.

You are 100% right on in questioning "group buys" from non-members/non-sponsors, when our sponsors are paying the way! If anyone deserves Rennlist business, it's of course the sponsors, which is EXACTLY why many many MANY of us go straight to Paragon Products instead of Performance Products!

In fact, I AM very interested in reading Tony's reply. I hope this all works out to the benefit of all involved, INCLUDING Rennlist.

You're simply protecting your sponsors and rightfully so!

Again, my apologies that I, nor anyone here, thought to re-read the Rennlist Charter and catch this before it got out of hand.
