accelerometer vs. brake HP dyno?
Ok guys, what's the difference? A local shop (that is wanting to work with our shop) has an in-ground dyno, but says it is an acceleromoeter, not a regular brake HP dyno. Do I need to keep looking for another place to do some pulls?
BTW, I'm back up and running, and online again!

I think the thing called accelerometer consists of heavy cylinder with a large moment of inertia. You let the car accelerate the cylinder and measure how fast it will spin up. With information about the cylinders moment of inertia and graph on how fast it spins up you can get graphs for torque and power.
A friend of mine help some guys with writing software for a system like this but in scale 1:5 for RC-car motors. (And I helped him understand the physics behind )
