Post flaring tool for fuel send line?

hi all!

would like to do my fuel send and return lines, since my filter is rusted into place, but for the price of the factory send and return lines (~$150 each) i can easily put in some stainless lines and save a bunch of dough.

anyone know what kind of flaring tool i would need to make up either my own lines or an adapter from the metric fitting and flare to an AN fitting? i've got all pieces from the pump (unrusted) out to the elbow tube that comes out off of the filter. it has a 15 mm thread, i believe, and some funky form of flare on it.

once i get those in, i can put those beautiful braided stainless lines for the engine compartment from Rennbay in...

thanks for your time!
Andrew

You can get a standard 45 degree flaring tool at most Autozone or Pep Boys, the German flare is something like 30 degrees but you can get those tools (for lots more money) at the industrial supply places such as McMaster - Carr or Graingers.

AN is a 37 degree. It is recomended if flaring the seamed steel lines you go with a double flaring tool.
